What do you get when you mix 70,000 litres of paint with 57km of copper wire?
Paint Fireworks and an amazing new Sony BRAVIA ad..
Remember the wonderful [Ball Bouncing] commercial for Sony’s high definition Bravia LCD TV, which featured 250,000 coloured balls bouncing down a street in San Francisco. Well once again Sony has shocked the world for the the purpose of fun.. I mean advertising.. they have used thousands of gallons of paint and fireworks to blast it across a multi-storey high rise in Queen’s Court, Toryglen, in Glasgow as part of a multi-million pound campaign for the new Sony BRAVIA ad.
Project Specs:
The high-rise was rigged for the blasts and the surrounding houses were covered with huge tarpaulins to protect them.

U’R Da Best In Those Things.
Nice!
It’s such a surprise to me, that it has been a real shoot - i always thought, it has been generated completely on the computer - amazing that it was real work by a lot of people involved! Such an effort and expense… I loved the idea behind before I recognized the amount of work. So now I’m even more impressed.
I want this ad as a screensaver!!!!!!!!! love it love it love it. this is the kind of work that made me choose my career in advertising and is one of the best tv ads I’ve seen in 30 years. congrats and I bet jonathan glazer gets a gold for this!
If only all adverts were like this i would watch them more than the actual tv show.
that sounds great… but for some reason their tvs dont look as good as a number of pioneer or toshiba screens. theyre about to spend millions to promote their tvs over the next few months. i wish they would discount their prices instead.
