Open Designs now has over 400 free website templates available for download!
In less then 3 months Open Designs has reached and passed yet another milestone. There are now more than 400 free quality XHTML designs available for download. On top of that the forum is thriving with activity, a lot of helpful posts providing good advice, and also some interesting discussions on licensing issues have been posted. All in all the site is growing a rate no one could have imagined, there has been huge interest from a range of people about wanting to know what’s next for the site, well a few things in the works are much needed ratings for the templates so you can vote on how good, or bad, you think they really are. Comments on templates is a possibility in the future as well, but for now any design specific related comments should be posted in the Open Designs community forum.

Any news on when Open Designs will be back up? Starting to miss that site already, hope you guys don’t just disappear!
I see someone has a new style. It looks sweet.
Nope we’re certainly not going to disappear Jason, we’re finalising contract details with a new host at the moment and will be making an official annoucement shortly after that has been sorted out. Stay tuned, and thanks for popping by!
Gnome, still got the lime green / white combo up at the moment, but changing to a light on dark design within the upcoming weeks which I’m actually working on at the moment.
