Free Website Template - Spring Bloom

Posted on May 25, 2008 | Tags: Blog, Templates, General

I’ve updated an old free website template of mine, Spring Bloom. I though it was about time I went back and cleaned up my previous templates, and got ready to release some new ones!! It’s only been about 13 months since my last update to this site…

Anyway you can preview the updated design or download it from Open Designs right away!

Over the coming weeks they’ll be a lot of changes to this site, and it will be turning a bit more “personal” and not centered around my portfolio of work and freelance stuff - not that it ever was if I’m honest. The reason for this is that I’m now working full-time at for Prodo - a web design company based in Chester, England. Actually I’ve been working there for roughly 10 months, part of the reason why I never really continued doing anything with this domain. We’ve also got a new design created by our creative team ready to be coded up and put live for Prodo as well, when we find some spare time in between client work - isn’t it great how when you want something of your own done, you get flooded with other stuff that takes priority!

Oh yeah, and Kontera context ads are going gone! So to is Adsense I think.

Thanks for the wonderfully compact design plain&simple! I was directed to this template in Larry Ullman’s latest book “PHP 6 and MySQL 5″. I’m not adept at CSS - is there a simple tweak I can do to your CSS to make buttons render normally? Now they appear as “text boxes” and I find that users do not necessarily understand that it is a button.
